The Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Hamish Hay, and the southern regional manager for Air New Zealand, Mr Paul Bowe, look at photographs of Seattle, taken in the early 1900s. The photographs were presented to the council by Seattle, one of Christchurch’s sister cities, and delivered by Air New Zealand. The gift follows the presentation of photographs by the Christchurch City Council to a delegation from Seattle visiting Christchurch earlier this year.
