Oil dispute meeting
PA Auckland Officials of unions involved in the Marsden Point dispute would meet today to discuss the situation at the refinery extension site, said the secretary of the Auckland Boilermakers’ Union, Mr Alex Mac Lean, yester-
day. The 3000-member workforce defeated on Friday a motion to return to work tomorrow. The workers voted to give their union officials authority to continue negotiations with the construction consortium.
