Secondary school debates
“The Press” debating contest for secondary schools will be held this year on July 21 and 22. All secondary schools in Canterbury, Westland, Marlborough, and Nelson qualify to enter a team in the tournament. Inquiries about entry may be made by applying to “The Press” Debating Tournament, care of the Editor, “The Press,” P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch. Entries will close on June 16.
