Woman dies in house fire
PA Auckland An elderly woman died in a house fire in Onehunga on Thursday evening. She was Agnes Pollock Bertram, aged in her 80s. Miss Bertram was unconscious when rescued from her blazing home, but efforts to resuscitate her failed. Her brother, Robert Thomas Bertram, also in his 80s, was rescued by a passer-by.
