Lawyer on theft charge
PA Auckland A prominent Auckland lawyer was remanded when he appeared in the District Court yesterday on charges of theft and perjury. Judge Blackwood remanded the defendant on
his own bond of $lOOO for a preliminary hearing on August 6. The Judge granted the defendant interim suppression of name, and also suppressed the names of two other men named in the charges.
