RED CROSS EMERGENCY | RELIEF TEAM IS SEEKING I VOLUNTEERS FOR ITS EMERGENCY WELFARE UNIT. -This unit Is one of fourcomprising the Christchurch based team, which was established to provide well equipped well trained and mobile groups of young people, capable of handling First Aid. Rescue and Emergency Welfare problems. —Volunteers for the Welfare Unit need to be between the ages of 18-35, have a background or Interest In catering, be prepared to work In demanding situations, be keen to serve the community and be available in the event of community emergencies. There will be a meeting for all those interested In joining the unit, at the Red Cross Rooms, 39 Cashel Street, on Tuesday, June 5, at 7.30 pm. AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN: that a meeting of the Board will be held at the office of the Board, Christchurch, on Wednesday June 27, 1984, at 7.30 p.m. to confirm the said Resolution.
