Prime objectives are to achieve unified herd improvement, faster decision making responses to market demands, and to foster a truly commercial organisation. This demanding role requires perception, leadership and management of a high order. A permanent staff of 550 plus 1000 part time employees is involved. Reporting to the successful candidate will be the positions of Deputy General Management and Regional Managers, and Divisional Management; covering the functions of field services; research and development; sire purchase, selection and proving; semen production; marketing; exporting; administraItion, finance, secretarial and data base; farm management advisory services and farm survey.
