The N.Z.T.B.A. is a voluntary ■H association of members whose primary aim and object is to promote and H| ensure the welfare of the breeding of thoroughbred horses in New Zealand. M THE POSITION M The National Secretary, who is located in Wellington, is the full time UM Executive Officer of the Council. He/she is responsible for enacting HH Council decisions and pursuing the aims and policies of the Association MH as directed by the Council, and for the maintenance of the Association's MM office and its functions. ME THE PERSON MH The person we are seeking will: ME • Have a sound knowledge of the thoroughbred breeding industry, both jjin within New Zealand and overseas, and preferably, in addition, have a jffil good knowledge of racing. • Be experienced in office procedure and the maintenance of financial Hh and other records. • Have the ability to produce clear and concise written matter and Mg possess good oral communication skills and Mfi • have an ability to conceive/produce material of a promotional nature MH for domestic and international consumption. The age is flexible, but we anticipate that the successful candidate will be in the 30’s plus age bracket.
