Korea beckons
South Korea had significent potential as a market for New Zealand agricultural products, said the president of Federated Farmers, Mr Rob Storey, in a statement after a recent visit to that country. “Although Korea faces restrictions on its balance of payments, there can be no doubt that in the future it will become a large market for exports from New Zealand. The consumption of beef and dairy products is increasing rapidly and there are prospects for developing a trade in sheep meats as well as other primary products,” he said.
