B. Paterson suspended
PA . Auckland Bevan Paterson had his horseman’s licence suspended up to and including May 30 after an incident about 100 m from the start of the Image Printing Mobile Pace at Alexandra Park on Saturday evening. Power Glory, driven by Paterson, broke at that point and checked both Markover and Spinnan. In fixing the penalty, the committee took into account the frank evidence which was given by Paterson. A. F. H. Hunter (Malaz), N. M. Fester (Now’s Your Chance), A. Milina (Traitor’s Gate) and A. J. Dunsmuir (Alison Command) were each fined $25 for failing to notify or late notification of a driver in a T.A.B. double or treble race.
