Free bargaining
Sir, — Although I am a union member I think Mr Bolger’s idea of giving non-union labour the right to free bargaining directly with employers is a good one. If they do not want to be part of the union, then they should be able to negotiate their own wage and not freeload on the union’s efforts. — Yours, etc., l. p. McCarthy. May 24, 1984.
