J. McGifford injured
PA Palmerston North The successful jumps jockey, John McGifford, will be out of action for some weeks after being involved in a training accident at the Woodville track. McGifford’s mount fell during a schooling session on Tuesday morning, and he broke his left wrist. He had broken the same wrist in an earlier race fall.
