‘Guide to Galaxy’ on radio again
The 12-part radio series of "Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” will be repeated on the National programme, starting at 8 o’clock tonight. When first broadcast some years ago, the serial immediately developed an enthusiastic cult following; when it was transferred to a TV series interest increased again and the writer, Douglas Adams, became a household name. So once again listeners can join Peter Jones as The Book in the story which begins with the end of the world and an escape in a flying saucer, and develops jnto a fantastic satire on Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, Isaac Asimov and everyone else who has ever written a science fiction story.
