Call for research proposals
By OLIVER RIDDELL in Wellington The Ross Dependency Research Committee has invited proposals for research projects to be considered for inclusion in the 1985-86 New Zealand Antarctic Programme. Applications close with the head office of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research in Wellington on July 31. Research proposals can cover any earth, life or atmospheric sciences and be directed to a better understanding of the unique environment of Antarctica, its geological and physical structure, or natural phenomena most suited to research done from southern latitudes.
