Swale favoured
NZPA-Reuter Baltimore The Kentucky Derby winner, Swale, is the 6-5 favourite in a field of 10 colts for the $NZ522,980 Preakness Stakes at Pimlico tomorrow. Swale is attempting to duplicate the 1977 feat of his sire, Seattle Slew, and become the first son of a triple crown winner to capture the Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes since Omaha, son of Gallant Fox, accomplished the feat in 1935.
