Fred Rotts bought a car the other day It was a real bargain / Fl ! I J ill | $ I i WB.-. \\ 1 H \\< — wrwmr ■.^. ujr^x z - ?..• V ; ———-~ • :>■% ’I Fred Potts thought he made a good investment when he paid top dollars for a used car. The owner assured him the low mileage reading was accurate. Fred started to have problems with the car straight away. Mechanics told him the odometer had been around the clock more than once. He also realised he had been misled about the year of the car. If Fred had bought from a licensed motor vehicle dealer this story would COIVSI Jnlljll have been a happier one. Fred knows now that his dollars were misspent. He hopes he can get * lill 11 111111 the car running until he can afford to trade it. Next time he’ll be looking for the MVDI sign before he spends his money. Hopefully the garage will finish the expensive repairs by tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow Fred can drive . . . . . . instead of borrowing his daughter’s bike. - i. '
