Masked man stuns flatmates
Four flatmates in a Fendalton house had their television viewing interrupted on Wednesday evening when a masked man opened their lounge door and looked in. Then, without speaking, the intruder had shut the door and left, said Detective Senior-Sergeant Roger Carson.
The stunned occupants of the house, in Hamilton Avenue, immediately got in
touch with the police. However, police dogs could not pick up a scent. The police believe that the intruder, who wore a stocking over his head, gained entry through an unlocked back door about 10.50 p.m. He did not take anything. The intruder is described as European, about 183 cm (6ft) tall, and was possibly wearing a black coat.
