Principal nurse changes hospitals
The new principal nurse of Christchurch Hospital will be Mrs Brenda Wilson, now principal nurse of Burwood Hospital. She succeeds Miss Margaret Darby, who has become chief nurse of the Canterbury Hospital Board. Mrs Wilson was trained in London and has worked in Nigeria and Iraq. She has held a number of posts since emigrating to New Zealand in the 19605. They include matron of Rangiora Hospital and obstetric supervisor at Grey Hospital, Greymouth. She has worked at Burwood since 1973, the last four years as its principal nurse. It will be a few weeks yet before her sue-
cessor there is chosen and she moves to Christchurch Hospital.
