Packaging Manager New Zealand Dairy Board Excellent salary + benefits Wellington We are assisting the New Zealand Dairy Board, a world leader in the manufacture and sale of a wide range of dairy products, with the appointment of a Packaging Manager who must have a broad knowledge of the packaging industry together with an appreciation of alternative packaging materials and material handling systems. The responsibilities, which include the development of packaging for products that are sold both in bulk and consumer presentation forms, carry the challenge to achieve economies in packaging consistent with product protection and quality market presentation. The position controls and oversees the planning and supply of packaging materials to manufacturing dairy companies for which the budget exceeds $4O million. The Packaging Manager is supported by specialist staff who work closely with the packaging industry in the development of new concepts and the use of alternative materials: there is a major responsibility in negotiating purchase arrangements for packaging componentry to be supplied to dairy companies through the Board.
