Mixed day in hockey
Canterbury sides had two wins and a loss when the under-15 and under-16 invitation boys’ hockey tournament began in Auckland yesterday. The under-15 Canterbury side beat North Shore, 4-0,
and Tauranga, 4-0, and the under-16 side lost, 1-2, to North Shore. The tournament includes Australian state age-groups teams and New Zealand provincial age-group sides.
