Touching love story
French actors, Anouk Aimee and Jean-Louis Trintignant, star in “A Man and a Woman,” screening on Two at 10 o’clock tonight. It is a visually stunning, well acted and touching love story, says TVNZ.
Aimee gives a fine performance as a widow who has lost her husband — a
talented and sensitive man — in an accident. Trintignant plays the man she meets one Sunday while visiting her children at boarding school and with whom she eventually falls in love.
The pair want to be together but the sad events of their past conspire to keep them apart.
