D. Butt in third place

NZPA-AAP Brisbane David Butt, of New Zealand, is a close third in the Australasian Junior Drivers’ Trotting Championship following the second round of the series at Toowoomba, west of Brisbane. The titleholder, Geoff Marriott, aged 21, of Perth, is now within one point of championship leader, Barrie Rattray, of Tasmania, after winning the Toowoomba race on Legs McGee.
