Paving and wall texturing
The specialist team of Winstone (5.1.), Ltd, will put on three separate demonstrations of Cobblestone, Alpine and Pavelock paving, the fixing and stopping of Gibraltar Board, and the finishing of interior walls with Glamatex texturing compound. They will show that you can transform most walls and ceilings in three easy steps: First, seal the surface with Glamaseal Interno; second, mix the contents of the texture pack and apply to the surface; third, texture to your desired finish and allow to set. The team will also show how to lay Pavelock, a precision composite con-
Crete paving stone made to withstand constant use for decades.
Laid on a bed of sand over a conventional subbase and with sand-packed joints, Pavelock combines the functions of a surface and structural layer in a pavement capable of withstanding heavy traffic. Pavelock paving is very easy to lift and re-lay, and permits a flexibility in landscaping, architectural design and practicability of pavement extension. Existing ground can be used as a base for. Pavelock in a domestic application, providing that it is of a sandy, gravelly nature and, when cut down to the required level, is quite firm underfoot. If there are localised soft areas, these should be dug out and filled with a coarse sand or fine crushed material, and well compacted.
