Man still badly hurt
A man injured on Friday, when the car he was driving struck a tree and a whale pot memorial in Akaroa, was still seriously ill in the intensive-care unit at Christchurch Hospital last evening. Brian Frank Trevor, aged 29, of Akaroa, suffered head, leg, and internal injuries.
