Earthquake rocks Otago

PA Dunedin An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck parts of North Otago yesterday morning. Centred about 90km north of Dunedin, the earthquake could be felt up to 200 km

from its epicentre, said a geographist with the University of Otago geology department, Dr P. Koons, yesterday. The earthquake came just before 9 a.m. There were no reports of major damage.
