Dr Kissinger and Alexis
Watch out for a former Secretary of State, Dr Henry Kissinger, and a former President, Gerald Ford, and Mrs Ford, in tonight’s episode of “Dynasty,” screening on One. In the story, every Denver socialite worth his or her salt shows up at the Carousel Ball, the high point of the social season. In real life, the Carousel Ball in Denver is an annual charity gala sponsored by the owner of 20th CenturyFox, Marvin Davis, and his wife, Barbara. Among the Hollywood heavyweights invited last year were Richard Shapiro and his wife, Esther, co-executive producers of “Dynasty’.’ The producers’ biggest coup was to persuade some of their fellow guests to become guest stars, so that is why tonight viewers will see Blake greeted by the Fords, Krystle chatting with the Davises, and Alexis flirting with Dr Kissinger.
