Northern horses due today

Look Me Over and Lady Delwin, two of the North Island contenders for the $66,000 D.B. Export Lager Flying Fillies’ Final at Addington Raceway on Saturday, are due to arrive at Christchurch tomorrow. Look Me Over will be driven by Derek Jones, while Lady Delwin will be handled by Dennis Nyhan, who drove the filly’s dam, Del’s Dream, in some of her races. Lady Delwin earned a place in the field when Seafield Celeste was scratched yesterday because of a pulled muscle. Arabesque, trained by Gary Hillier, has already arrived in Christchurch. Lucy Lumber and Precious Sally are to travel south by air today. Precious Sally has the New Zealand Oaks next Wednesday as her main mission. She will have her first race experience at Addington in the Lantana Lodge Ladies’ Mile on the first night of the meeting on Saturday.
