Design Council head
PA Wellington Mr D. O. Walker, previously managing director of N.Z. Forest Products, is the new chairman of the New Zealand Industrial Design Council. Mr Walker, who succeeds the late Mr James Collins, of Christchurch, will take up the position on June 1. Another new appointment
to the council is that of Mrs K. Coolahan, a Wellington graphic designer, who will join the council on June 1.
