Pie in the face for Brooke Shields
NZPA-Reuter Princeton The actress-model, Brooke Shields, who has starred in Hollywood and appeared on the covers of countless magazines, was hit in the face with a pie in her first Princeton University production. Miss Shields, aged 18, a first-year student, appeared four times in the 23 numbers of a musical review called “Revel Without A Pause,” written by two students.
In the numbers, she made fun of her fame and image and her social relationship with the rock star, Michael Jackson.
She was hit with the pie as she danced to a parody of Jackson’s “Thriller.”
“She was a very good sport to go along with some of the things we asked her to do,” said Louis Bayard,
vice-president of Princeton’s student theatre company. “She has... a sense of humour about herself, and I think people can respect that”
