Another Minister in hospital

PA Wellington Another Cabinet Minister will enter hospital to correct a health problem. The Minister of Housing, Mr Friedlander, goes into Taranaki Base Hospital today to have his sinuses scraped. A spokesman for Mr Friedlander said the Minister was expected to stay in hospital overnight and would probably be back at work later this week. The Minister of Transport, Mr Gair, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Highet, have recently had hospital treatment. The Minister of Customs, Mr Allen, spent three weeks on leave while being treated for diabetes. The Under-Secretary for Agriculture, Mr Austin, went into hospital on Sunday to have a kidney stone removed.
