Rules win
A new club, Woodlands, showed promise although well beaten in its first Australian rules match at Ouriuha Domain yesterday. An established team, Avon, scored 158 points (23 goals, 20 behinds) to the 52
by Woodlands (seven goals, 10 behinds). For Avon, D. Cross, B. Itsimeara and K. Doyle had fine games, while Woodlands was well served by G. Gardiner, L. Guest and G. Pye.
