Regina bonus 1:5
The shareholders of Regina Confections, Ltd, are getting a better bonus than expected, now that they have approved new articles of association. Instead of the foreshadowed bonus issue of 1 for 10, the directors have altered the ratio to one for five. They say that this is the result of the company’s recent successful investments, initially in Charter Investments, Ltd, and subsequently in Charter Corporation, Ltd. The issue will be made to shareholders on the register at 5 p.m. on May 9. Issued capital will rise as a result of the issue from 2,500,000 20c shares to 3,000,000 20c shares. The bonus shares will rank equally in all respects with existing capital.
