Price increases approved

PA Wellington The Department of Trade and Industry has listed notifications received under the Economic Stabilisation (Prices) Regulations, 1983. during the fortnight ended Wednesday, April 18. In the period 79 notifications were received, 44 cleared, and 113 were on hand, 15 investigations were started and four completed, 22 investigations were on hand, and four prices were determined. Inquiries received from the public in relation to price increases, and inquiries begun into prices for non-notifying traders, for the fortnight ended April 18, totalled 345, 189 investigations were started and 61 completed, 343 investigations were on hand.
