NZPA-AAP Sydney The big race specialist, Bart Cummings, paid top price of sAust22o,ooo ($NZ314,600) for a BiscayMisty colt on the first day of the 1984 Sydney Easter yearling sales on Tuesday. The brown colt was offered on account of Cardiff stud, California, United States of America, and will be raced by a former South African, Mr Joe Gazal, and a Melbourne businessman. Mr Merv Brown. Cummings was impressed with the colt, whose dam Misty is a half siter to Vibeke, winner of five races from 1200 m to 2000 m including the A.B.C. Ellerslie Sires’ Produce Stakes. The dam is also a half sister to Sir Bart, the winner of three races from 1400 m to 2400 m in New Zealand, and now at stud in Canterbury.
