Notice: Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976 WARNING Fault found in LITTLE NIGHT LIGHT' CM 68620 1 If I 'i ■ / SIDE FRONT 1 Persuant to Regulation Bof the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, I, JACK JAMES CHESTERMAN, Secretary of Energy, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in my opinion the apparatus herein described constitutes or may constitute an electrical hazard. DESCRIPTION "Little Night Light” CM 68620 Plastic plug in light-fitting with pink shade (or other colours), shown in photographs above. 2. The electrical hazards that exist with the said night light include, but are not limited to the following: (a) When the bulb is not inserted into the lampholder, exposed terminals can readily be touched. (b) The distance from the pins to the edge of the lamp holder unit is insufficient to protect the user from touching the pins during insertion or removal from a plug-socket. The pin arrangement does not meet the requirements of NZS 198. (c) The neutral terminal is switched. 3 Every person who manufactures, imports for sale, sells or offers for sale the said Night Light, commits an offence and shall be liable on summary, conviction to a fine not exceeding S2OO.
