Australian $1 coin
Australian $1 coins will go into circulation on May 14. From that date JI notes will withdrawn from circulation as they are returned to the banking system. The new coin, slightly larger than the Australian 10c coin, will have a distinctive yellow-gold appearance with a milled edge.
