Cabin crew to meet executive
PA Auckland Four cabin crew members at the centre of a rostering dispute will air their grievances tomorrow to Air New Zealand’s chief executive, Mr Norman Geary, said an airline spokesman yesterday.
The outcome of those discussions will be discussed at a meeting of the Airline Stewards and Hostesses’ Union later tomorrow, said a union spokesman. The four crew members, who claimed they were too tired to work a Los AngelesHonolulu flight two weeks ago, have been assigned duties on domestic flights. The union says the move is a demotion. The union’s president, Mr Peter Best, said the cabin crew would meet Mr Geary individually for 45 minutes.
