The servant, Poncia (Teresa Macintyre), tries to restrain the mother, Bernarda (Juliet Robinson), from attacking her eldest daughter, Augustias (Michele Harrodan-Graham), in a rehearsal of “The House of Bernarda Alba,” a production by the Elmwood Players. The play, which was written by the Spanish playwright, Federico Garcia Lorca, has an all-female cast of 14 and is set in pre-revolutionary Spain. “The House of Bernarda Alba” will run from tomorrow until Saturday, and from May 2 to 5, at the Elmwood Playhouse, Fulton Avenue.
