Masked men sought after shotgun blast
PA Auckland The police were last evening still seeking two men who threatened the pregnant, former de facta wife of Bruce Cameron, who is charged with threatening to set off nerve gas canisters. Detectives said that they had not uncovered a motive for the attack on the woman and a man living in a Grey Lynn house owned by Cameron.
Two masked men, one with a sawn-off shotgun, burst into the house about 11.30 p.m. on Saturday and blasted a hole in a wall before fleeing in a car. The police said that the woman had been pushed to the floor and grabbed around the neck. They said that Cameron, who is on remand at Mount Eden Prison, was questioned.
