New Vax computer
Digital Equipment Corporation has finally announced a new top-end VAX super-minicomputer, which should help the company compete more strongly
against Data General’s MV/ 10000 super-minicomputer. The DEC VAX-11/785 has 50 to 70 per cent greater performance than a VAX--11/780 at a 10 to 15 per cent higher price.
