A 12-metre model of the space shuttle Columbia is shown to David St George, aged four, of Manurewa, by the model’s maker, Mr Paul Dewhurst, of Australia, at the Manukau City Centre, Auckland. The $40,000 model, which is said to be the largest of its kind in the world, will be displayed at Northlands Shoping Centre in Christchurch from Mas€ to 12. The display is sponsored by T.N.T. Transport (N.Z.), Ltd, and the Union Shipping Group.
