Haul ‘too big to raffle’
PA Auckland Meat valued at $96,000 was stolen from a Papatoetoe road transport company on Thursday night, the police said yesterday. A police spokesman said it was far too much meat to raffle in hotels. The thieves would need a large coolstore, so the police would be looking for such an outlet, he said.
