Two former pupils of Rangiora High School, Mrs Nerissa Richards (nee Worthington), and Mrs Nancy Fenwick (nee Mclntosh), identify old school friends from a display of class photographs at an open day at the school on Thursday. Mrs Richards, aged 69, attended the school from 1929 to 1933, and Mrs Fenwick, aged 68, was a pupil there from 1930 to 1934. In the background are two fourth-form pupils, Karen Petrie (partly obscured), aged 15, and Lisa White, aged 14. The open day launched the school’s centenary celebrations, which continue today and tomorrow. The five days of celebrations will end on Monday with a gettogether for past and present staff.
