Lending rate lowered
Both of Ashburton’s local building societies will reduce their interest rates on all housing mortgages from June 30. The Ashburton Loan and Building Society and the Ashburton Permanent Building Sotiety have said their rate from then will be 11 per cent, 2.5 per cent less than their present rate.
