Doctor Inglis wins
Doctor Inglis, placed in two of his four starts in New Zealand for Jim Dalgety, made a successful debut at Harold Park, Sydney, on Friday night when he won the Edgar Taplow Stakes.
The half-brother by Colonel Kenton to the Sapling Stakes winner, Glide Time, won the race by 23m and recorded 2min 2.5 s for the mile.
Doctor Inglis races in the interests of the Sydney entrepreneur, Michael Edgley, for whom he was purchased by the West Melton trainer, Kevin Ryder.
