Man crushed by truck
PA Invercargill A man died after he was crushed between a truck and a loading bay at Riversdale yesterday afternoon. He was Frederick Rueben 5O, of Riversdale, the owner of a transport company and Argyle station. A heavy truck had rolled back, jamming Mr Andrews into a loading bay, said Senior-Sergeant J. R. Wheeler, of Gore. Nobody had been in the truck at the time of the accident, and Mr Andrews had died at the scene as a result of his injuries, said Senior-Sergeant Wheeler.
