UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY ELECTION TO COUNCIL AN election of members of council of the University of Canterbury will be held on Monday, June 11, 1984. The election is being held to fill the vacancies caused by the expiry of the terms of office of: Mr C. F. S. Caldwell (Court of convocation) Mr I. D. Leggat (Court of Convocation) All the retiring members listed above are eligible for reelection. The classes of electors entitled to nominate and vote in this election and the number of candidates to be elected are as follows: Canterbury District Court of Convocation Register: Two Candidates. The term of office is three years commencing July 1, 1984. Nomination papers may be obtained at the REglstry. Candidates are Invited to submit a shorrt biographical statement to be sent out with the voting papers and this statement should be attached to the nomination paper.
