THE POSITION: As the first step in establishing the "Data Products" Division, we wish to appoint a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will be responsible directly to the Managing Director and liase closely with him. His responsibly will be to (a) establish a retail business computer division, (b) administer the wholesaling of the full range of Radio Shack colour computers and peripherals throughout New Zealand through the existing wholesale division, (c) select and train an assistant as a specialist "data products representative’ who will assist and back up the existing wholesale field reps. THE APPLICANT: The successful applicant will require a sound knowledge and experience in marketing across the full spectrum of the home and business micro computers. This is a senior position and ranks among the top executives in the company. We expect the “Data Products” Division to become a major contributor to the company's overall turnover and profitability.
