Sugar row settled
PA Auckland A dispute which threatened to close the Chelsea sugar refinery at Auckland and disrupt national supplies has been resolved. The secretary of the Stationary Engine Drivers’ Union, Mr George Hogarth, said an amicable settlement had been reached with the New Zealand Sugar Company, Ltd.
