CHERTSEY TROTTING CLUB ANNUAL EQUALISATOR MEETING CHERTSEY RACEWAY EASTER MONDAY APRIL 23, 1984 THE programme for the above meeting is: Races 1 and 2: Chertsey Tavern Pace and Leafmore Handicap, CO Pacers, 2400 m. Entries will be taken for one race then divided. Race 3: Some Evander Trot, CO and Faster Trotters, 3200 m. In the event of sufficient entries the race will be run in divisions — CO only trotters and Cl and faster trotters. Race 4: Roy Doig Memorial, CO Pacers, 3200 m. Race 5: Chertsey Cup Handicap, Cl and Faster Pace, 3200 m. Trophies for first and second. Winner to receive Chertsey Cup and free service to Graduand. Race 6: Standardbred Breeders Stakes, 3-year-oid fillies only, 2400 m. Dress cover donated by Standardbred Breeders Association. Race 7: Lynch Memorial Handicap, C2 and Faster Pacers, 2300 m. Handicap conditions. Winner to receive set of Charisma hopples. Race 8: Pacers Qualifying Trial, 2400 m. Unqualified pacers only. Race 9: Burnett’s Motors Pace, two-year-olds, 2400 m. Trophies for all events, except the pacers qualifying trial. All events, except race 8, are $4 entry and $6 sweepstake. Sweepstake pools split 60 per cent, 30 per cent, 10 per cent. Nominations close at 6 p.m., on MONDAY, APRIL 16. Withdrawals at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, April 17. Fields will be advertised in "The Press" on Saturday, April 21.
